Method

Heat oil, saute a bit of garlic and one onion diced.

Add half tin of chopped tomatoes and allow to cook on medium heat.

Add half Teaspoon of SouthIndian4Me homemade Red Chilli Powder, turmeric and a bit of salt.

Add one kilo potatoes, water to cover veg and let simmer until cooked. Then add peas and methi (fenugreek leaves or other greens, bit this is optional).

Check for spice, salt levels. Adjust by adding some amounts of chilli powder until to your taste.

Once nearly done, add half Teaspoon of SouthIndian4Me homemade Dhaniya Masala (containing Coriander seeds, cumin and black peppercorns) and allow to cook for a few minutes.

Final check of salt, spices.

Enjoy with hot white rice.

If you decide to use shop bought masalas, I cannot guarantee the taste!
